What is a Design Brief?
A design brief (for a website) is generally a set of preferences or instructions that you would give to your designer about how you want your website to be. It can be anything from types or styles of images, where the logos should be, types of colors to use or even things to avoid. Basially anything and everything that you want your designer to know about your company or product before the creative work starts.
We encourage you to use emotive such such as "Happy" "Serious" "Conservative" to describe the type of atmosphere that you would like your website to have. Be selective with the words you use. Too many emotive words can sometimes be confusing!
By referring to the design briefs, the designer can work on a concept that stays relevant to the company and ultimately achieves a design that works for you. Developed carefully and with the user in mind, your professionally designed website can help your customers find the right information (or even make sales! ) from your company.
